Hello guys,
so i have had the rostock max v2 for more then a year now, and i'm still not able to get good prints somewhat consistently, always having to tweak and retry which gets quite frustrating at times.

So this print just finished and i am somewhat happy with it, can be improved with sanding but its for sure not the best results i think this machine can do.
got the model from thinginverse: a little robot http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:701051\n

i use CURA as my slicer with the following settings for the white ABS fom seemecnc:
Layer h: 0.2
speed: 50m/s
temps: 228C and 90C
no supportmaterial and with brim. no fan took about 2 hours, 180 layers

the first 40 layers it created that mess of overhang, and then there are many of those blobs or little bubbles of abs
Anyone has any tips on how to improve??

Thanks so much :D

P.S sry the pictures aren't the best.

Have you checked your horizontal radius settings and followed pages 238-242 to a T in this guide?

Oh there is a new guide, thanks:D,and new software, do you recommend mattercontrol over cura? ( i started with repetier with slic3r, but it had very un-logical slicingpaths and crashed couple of times,)
Yes when i build it i did all the calibrations including the horizontal radius, i will print a cube now to check if calibration is ok, thnks for the suggestion.
I think my problem is more related more to slicingsettings,
Don'tknow, im gonna try, and give reports asap,

thanks:D
