Just got done the build tutorial, what are essential mods?
So i just got done completeing the build manual and wanted to know if there was another manual in the series for calibration and whatnot before i start trying to print nice pieces?

a stock rostock will print great parts.... get used to running it, mods can come later.... do the calibration exactly like geneb describes.

You can print relatively nice stuff with a stock MAX. Unless you have a fair bit of experience it's probably best you learn your stock machine before doing any serious modding. Take a look here http://forum.seemecnc.com/viewtopic.php?f=36&t=7361 for printing tips
