So... A couple days ago, Michael from the MakerHive noticed an interesting tweet from Doritos.
https://twitter.com/Doritos/status/593083267147960321
Naturally we had to create an STL file and respond.

If they like it, I'll post the file. Hopefully we get a funny response from them

looking closer at Doritios tweet picture again makes my laugh... whoever made that ad image knows NOTHING about 3D printing... the head looks like a laser cutter NOT a printer. duh, they could of at least used a real printer. I would fire that ad agency.
even looks like a laser warning label at the very top of image on "print" head.

Their "printer" looks like it might be a 3D rendering.
Why are they even mixing 3D printing with chips...?

You guys are harsh!
Anything that brings 3d printing more into the public view is cool by me.
Maybe this isn't 100% accurate but so? People are going to say "I can 3d print food?!" and the answer is YES.
Maybe that will get some of them interested in exploring the technology further!

Careful with saying anything. If you get your 3D printing information from NCIS, it's only used to make undetectable firearms and explosives detonators.

It's 100% all in fun. I hope that it makes them laugh and that they're interested and want me to share the STL that I created with them. I agree that anything to advance the technology is awesome, and I hope their tweet did get some new printers interested in the idea.
