Tower Bed Angle Adjustment and Top mount tower leving screws

Built myself a rostock max v2 recently and have been having a lot of fun playing with it. Working on fixing up the angle between my towers and the bed. I've got one tower that I cannot for the life of me get secured at anything better than an 89.6 deg angle to the bed. In troubleshooting this I've noticed that the screw, in the top of the machine where the extrusion is supposed to rest is opposite the other two towers. On the two towers I've been able to get to roughly 90 degrees the screw head is on the inside of the mount, so the extrusion rests against that. On the problematic tower, the screw was placed in the other direction so the extrusion would be up against the threads instead.
On the bottom all 3 are resting against the screw heads like normal. Since they are all aligned down there, I figure, from an angle to bed standpoint, the problem I just described at the top shouldn't matter.. However, I'm left with that being the tower giving me problems, so I wonder. Does anyone have any thoughts? I've had a hell of a time pushing on those towers while tightening to bolts. :-/ I will take the top apart to fix that screw if I have to but I'm not looking forward to it...
Thanks
