Heat rod cannot move flatly

Hi everyone,

Can you guys tell me how to calibrate well on heat rod? When adjusting the height, we are having a hard time to make it move in a flat movement. In the printing, it will move up and down a little.

The problem is since the code is always error, we gave up on it and totally rely on hand adjustment, will that be a big problem?

Moreover, the machine refuse to give filament first 10 seconds of printing.

Thank you guys very much!

What kind of printer are you using?
If using Repetier firmware, what version?

To get filament moving at the start of printing, add a skirt or brim (feature in slicer).

Hi, I see you are having a lot of issues, you have posted several threads, problems with the printer, hot end, slicer, gcode.
Just a suggestion, approach one problem and try to fix that, then fix the other. If not, there will be too many variables to work with.

If you are having errors when slicing a model that's a problem of the slicer or the host. Not the printer.
Slic3r+Repetier should work just fine. Reinstall it, but download it again, maybe your file is corrupted or something.

Once you can slice a model, post your g-code, or share your start g-code. If the temperature is decreasing to 200Âșc the problem should be there.

The we can focus on the other issues.

Hope you can make it work, it's a beautiful machine.

1.0.6 is the latest version of the Repetier-Host application.

I was asking about firmware.

0.92 is the latest version of Repetier firmware.

To Mr. Earthbound:

Hello Sir, I think we are using the 0.7 version.

To Mr. Tincho85:

Sir, thank you for your care. Sorry I confused you but we have already solved the temperature problem by upgrading the Host and since we have to finish our printer before 15th this month, we are speeding up these days.
The only problem we are facing now is to calibrate it. It is able to print but not in a good quality and the extruder seems not moving in a flat surface while printing each layer.

Thank both of you for helping us out!
