Rostock max v2 extruder just clicks, changed it out and second motor just clicks. Changed config H settingd to motor current 155,155,155,165,0 still just clicks.
Pulled 4 wire plug and re attached. Just clicks. Took off extruder and motor alone just clicks. Help I don't want to type JUST CLICKS any more.

It could be a number of things, the first one to check is the motor wiring.
Either swapped wires, or a loose connection (usually on the connector).
One way to verify your motor wiring is to unplug the rambo swap one of the motion axis with the extruder, home and see if the motor runs.

It could be a bad motor driver on the board, they are easy to damage, but it's more likely the wiring.

Then either the stepper is bad (unlikely) or you have a bad connection, as I said usually it's at the connector, commonly it's a connector pin that isn't fully seated, or a bad crimp.

OK I'm going to re crimp and put in a new connector again. I'll re post after. Thanks!

3 motors and 3 new crimps and connectors later, wired every way possible (first way was correct but tried em all), motor won't turn. Just clicks.
23 hrs of a semi easy build and it comes to this? I did have this clicking problem before the first print and took the extruder apart and checked everything, (no problems) put back together and got 2 nice prints.
Started a print 1 day later and click, click. Had to use my trustee FlashForge Creator Pro to get the print out.
Seems like a wiring problem but what next? A new rambo board?

You could try driving the extruder from the unused driver (E1) on the RAMBo. The process is described here: http://forum.seemecnc.com/viewtopic.php?f=77&t=6902

To be clear you what you stated above was when you connected the stepper to the Z axis it still clicked right?
In that case assuming the Z axis stepper normally moves correctly the issue is either the Stepper itself, or the wiring to it.
If you connect the ZAxis stepper to the extruder output does it move smoothly?

Ok worked til wee hours but found out what the culprit is.
You were correct that its either the stepper (UNLIKELY) or the wireing.
I ended up re crimping and running all new wire and ran it directly to the extruder stepper motor and bingo.
So must me a short or bare spot in the wire going through the tower. I will re run new wire.
Thanks for all your help.

Great job in getting it working again!
