Hello,
I finally got my Rostock Max v2 printing, so I wanted to say hi and share my results. Also, Id like to thank the members of this forum for sharing a treasure trove of knowledge/experience/opinions... Ive been lurking since before I placed my order and have learned a lot here.
This is my first 3d printer, and I probably got ahead of myself with the upgrades and probably would have been just as satisfied had I completed the kit stock (and I would've started printing weeks ago). That said, I was surprised by the results of my first and second print; I was expecting a lot more general sloppiness until I really learned how things worked and got things dialed in. Heres some pics...

They arent perfect; my non expert eye sees what looks like some layer misalignment, and the cube is a tiny bit rhomboid. Any thoughts?
Thanks again,
T

Thats a great start! I'm sure the prints will only get better as you get things dialed in. Just out of curiosity, what upgrades did you do during the building phase?

Hi tylurker and welcome to the forum.
Thanks for buying the Rostock V2 printer and after seeing the printed parts you made I would say that you have done a great job
and the prints will improve with more "tweaking".
Thanks for the pictures and Happy Printing to you!
