howdy,
quick intro: I'm an artist living in San Francisco. Plenty of experience with sculpting, electronics, arduino, raspberry pi, soldering, woodworking. Not much else to say here

Agree you will have a blast and your creativity is your only limit.

Wahoo!
I started printing last week, had to do some serious modifications to the default slicing settings to keep overextrusion from causing lots of baubles. Not sure if it is normal to have to force it to retract if only .5mm of filament has been extruded, but that seemed to help a lot, much more than changing the temp of the extruder for PLA.
But then I went to replace my layer fan and forgot the printer was still on, and blew one of the microfuses. GAH! so annoying that there aren't any extra in the kit, as looking at the forums it seems to be a common event. It might be good to at least include several links on where to purchase them in the manual, as some of the 'required equipment.'
I'll be soldering in a 5a auto fuse on a wire tonight to keep printing while I wait for the order to arrive.
