Hi all! I'm Gregg, located about 45 minutes south of Cincinnati in a small town called Falmouth, KY. I decided to learn a little more here after meeting John and Steve at both San Francisco Maker Faire and Kansas City Maker Faire. I'm an e-Nable volunteer who got into 3d printing 1.5 years ago. I got into printing primarily to make hands for my son, Little Cool Hand Luke. and now we travel to Maker Faire's trying to educate people about e-Nable and how 3d printing has benefitted us as a family.

I hope to learn more from everyone here!

Great to hear from you, welcome to the forum!

I just interviewed a guy who's shipped out 24 prosthetic hands. He said he was part of a program called empower.

Sounds like you've done some amazing and fulfilling work. I'd love to see some of your prints!

Thanks for the welcome. I've never heard of empower but I'll look for them. I've printed quite a few hands for my son and tinkered with most of them. And I've got my own design to bring to life, once I learn a little more cad.

You can always check out http://www.enablingthefuture.org for our different designs or http://www.facebook.com/LittleCoolHandLuke for what I've done for my son. And we're trying to set up booths at most of the Maker Faire's for people to check out.
