Dual Prometheus hot ends?

So I bought a Prometheus V2 (.4mm) about a month ago and so far I'm absolutely loving it. This is my first hot end after the stock one that came with the Rostock Max V2. I've been really thinking about running dual (or more if it's feasible) extruders, but I'm fairly new to modding. Will any J-head dual-extruder setup work? I know some of the E3d models have wrap-around and such that might be problematic. Is anyone running dual Prometheus'?
Thanks in advance! I've got a fly-n-strude on the way so I can start trying to print TPU/TPE hopefully (with some additional modding apparently) Really enjoying my Max 2 so far. I've learned a ton.

Check the Diamond (3 in, 1 out) or the Cyclops (2 in, 1 out), they are both switching extruders.

Before you install dual extruders you should read the forum for people's opinions.
I had them working and took them off my machine, just not worth the hassle.
I have a Diamond hotend I like the idea, but I have yet to get a workable print out of it, though I haven't given up yet.

After I resolved my self induced assembly issue, the issue has been one of the inputs jamming, it looks like there is enough heat creep in the unused input to cause the PLA to swell and then set in the Teflon liner of the unused input.
I also has an issue where Repetier just decided to start ignoring extruder changes, but I can't blame the hotend for that.
I need to mess around with more retraction, if that still has issues, I'll try ABS instead of PLA, the. Possibly additional cooling of the heated break.

The inactive-extruder temperature delta function (or whatever your slicer calls it) is primarily to prevent ooze but should help prevent PLA heat creep too if set agressively.

Won't work on a Diamond hotend, they are like the Cyclops hotend, there is a single heater, and a single output orifice and multiple inputs.
The problem with separate hot-ends is that the unused hotend tends to hit the print and either mess it up or cause it to fail, it's worse on a delta because unless the geometry is perfect the platforms tend to tilt slightly as it moves across the print area, resulting in it being very difficult to calibrate the printer such that both hot-ends are level all the way across the build surface. I've done successful good looking prints with a multi extruder setup (an E3D Kraken), there are pictures on the forum somewhere, it can be done, it's just not IMO worth the effort/increased failure rate, my Kraken is sitting in my parts box.

Thanks for all of the replies. I'm almost tempted to try it anyway and try to invent a solution so that it's more reliable -- but that probably won't happen, if I'm honest. Lol
