Rostock Max V2 stops when computer goes to sleep

I installed a new PC to run my printer. Old PC was agonizingly slow. New one is a racer. But now I am having trouble with the extruder just stopping in place, and melting all the stuff around it. Today I was able to monitor it closely, when I move the PC mouse and the screen comes alive, so does the printer, just starts up where it left off. I think I will mess around with the sleep settings on the PC, it doesn't stop when the screen goes blank, it is some time after that. But it restarts when the screen lights back up. Has anybody had this happen??

You will have to disable the sleep function on the computer. The printer needs the computer on the entire time it is printing. Better still, print from the SD card so you can disconnect from the computer.

Yep, stop the computer from hibernating/sleeping. Also disable the power management on your USB root hubs.

Thanks! Turned off sleep and turned off the USB hub power down. Now I need to go in search of instructions for building from the SD card, I was previously able to copy the Gcode to the card but never able to get it to start up independent of the PC.
