Hello all,

I have been interested in 3d printers for quite a while. My boss surprised me and ordered a Rostock Max V2 with a bunch of upgrades. I was tasked with putting it together and getting it working. It went together pretty well, but my Onyx bed was warped beyond repair and gave me mega cal issues. I ended up shimming the borosilicate plate .060 above the domed bed and now all is working. I was pretty surprised the bed was that poor. None of the regular tricks from the forum could get it flat. I have been printing ABS with the E3Dv6 and trick laser arms upgrades. The learning curve was steep over the last week, but it is a pretty cool device.

If the Onyx is that badly warped, they may replace it. I'd contact SeeMeCNC and find out.
