Nozzle ID

I know this is probably a newbie question, but is there an easy way to ID a nozzle diameter? I noticed some dots on one. Are they marked in any standardized way?

E3d nozzles have markings on them. See: http://e3d-online.com/Extra-Nozzles

as for the seemecnc nozzles, you should be able to tell by eye because they aren't all so closely sized.
