Do you have the old extruder design or the new one?

I had the same problem with the old extruder design, I had to take apart the resistor housing and completely clean it out. I reassembled with a tiny bit of RTV to form a gasket between the two parts of the housing and tightened the assembly screws down as best as I could.

Eventually I upgraded to the new extruder design which should not have this problem, the resistor housing is a solid piece of metal with no gaps or openings to the peek/nozzle area.
