Any ideas? MatterHackers Lime Green PLA 200c hot end. 70c build plate. Sliced with MatterSlice

It seems every 1/2" or so the walls of this container are shifting. I've printed all types of shapes and geometry, and this is the first time I've seen this.

Any help is appreciated.

I had bad shifting problems on my printer just like that before I switched to the Trick Laser carbon fiber arms. Haven't had an issue since. When is the last time you checked all the bearings and joints?

What are the odds? I'm currently trying to fix this issue.
I printed this part some time ago. But the shifting keeps appearing randomly.

I'm currently printing the part again, only this time I'm using Cura as the slicer. See if that makes a difference.

Do you have aluminum or acetal u-joints on the effector? Shifting like that is caused by a sticking aluminum u-joint.

I have this issue and the only time I get it, is moving the printer while it was moving. My rostock max v2 has about 900 hours of running and the arms wear out which results as wobbling issue. So everytime I move the printer during operation, it is certainly guarenteed to shift the layers. Therefore,my thought about your issue is the head is wobbling .

So I sliced it with a Cura and reprinted with all the exact same settings. The results are MUCH better. My printer is practically new and I only have about 300hrs on it. I'm not saying mechanical issues aren't contributing some, but I'm more convinced it was a slicing issue. Also I noticed on the latest print, that the corner of the container that is farthest from the layer fan has a small mismatch. I'm thinking this might not be a shift ,but more of a layer cooling issue. It looks a lot like when you print a small area from PLA and no layer fan. Kinda smelted together. The wall of this container is only .06". The same goes for around the base where it looks a little mismatched. This is where a heavy radius meets the wall.

I'm going to lower the hotend to 195c and try again. I only have one layer fan so I'm hoping lowering the temp might help.

I printed it again at 195c at little to no change was noticeable. Then I ran out of filament, so it will be postponed.

This can also happen if your hot end mount is loose. With the hot end COLD and the motors on (holding it in place), push against the hot end from a few angles. It shouldn't budge. If it does, the shifting is happening because it's running into plastic somewhere and that's pushing it.
