Rostock Max V2 lower than 100microns?

Post by Martin_Kierstein »

Hi Everybody

n00b question from a beginner.

I read somewhere that it might be possible, by upgrading the stepper motors on the RMv2, to get it down to 50 microns.

Does anyone know if this is possible?

Thanks in advance :)

You can do it with a stock machine (I've done it with a v1), but it's very, very, slow. :)

Hi Gene

Thanks!

I use MatterControl.
So I can just set the layer height to 0.05 then?
I thought the minimum stock setting was 0.1 ...

Some have printed with 50 micron layer heights.
When on mobile I am brief and may be perceived as an arsl.
