someone share their configuration file

So I purchased a Max V1 off craigslist and have been fixing it up and making some improvements to it. I've gotten a few prints off of it, nothing special, but I'm playing. But then out of no where, I finished 1 print and loaded another in Repitier host and sent it to the printer. Don't know why, but the head crashed into the bed and dragged sideways enough that it broke the hotend before I could stop it. I haven't figured out that yet, but I seem to have a bigger problem. I bought one of the E3D knockoff ends because they are cheap and I am not into printing enough yet to warrant a good one. I got it installed and after figuring out that I had to upload a new configuration.h to change the thermistor settings, I got that done, but now my printer is not moving right so I am sure there must be something in the new file that is not correct. Could someone share their config file since the one I got off github does not seem to be right.

Sorry, I don't have the files here, but what is the particular problem you are having?
The .91 version from the github should work fine. I'm using that one.

If you have a V1, then one of your motors could be misbehaving. The Y-Axis motor of the V2 is inverted, so check for that.
Look for something like #define INVERT_Y

What motors do you have? Automation, Kysan and Wantai use different current.
This should also be changed in the firmware. Look for #define MOTOR_CURRENT

I don't know if the file is up to date, but now the arm length for stock V2 is different.
#define DELTA_DIAGONAL_ROD 269 for the V1

Good luck!

Can you post a photo of the drive gear used on the stepper motor? If it's the original style, you'll need to tweak the steps per mm in the firmware. If it's a VERY early machine, you'll need to make sure what version of the RAMBo you have. The early ones were 8 micro-step per step and the new/current ones are 16.

That was quick. Lovin this community already.

Here is a pic of the stepper gear if that helps to determine what version I have.
The Y does seem to be inverted, didn't think to check the invert flag, will do that.
The arm length was already set to 269 in the version I downloaded.
The motors are Wantai and it appears that the current is set for them now that you alerted me to check.

And we are back in business. I figured it had to be something simple and it was just too late after a long day. Now it's off to calibration land I go...

Glad you got it back in business!

That's the newer gear, so chances are pretty good you've got the 16 micro-step version of the RAMBo.

Did the original builder paint it purple?

I don't know. he wasn't the most talkative of guys. I do rather like it. He didn't exactly do the wiring nicely, though, so I went and redid all the wiring so it comes down the center instead of just running over the side.

I see why people like to upgrade to this hot end. I'm already getting better prints off of it than I was before.

It's actually not purple, but rather a dark metallic blue.
