If you haven't been to MRRF in the past, you need to go! This is the 4th MRRF, and it truly is the 3D printing event of the year. It gets bigger and bigger every time, and it's the RepRap, OpenSource, and 3D Printing Mecca for one weekend. You will see more than a hundred 3D Printers (the people and the machines), well over a thousand folks from the community walk through, lots of makerspaces and clubs attend as a group, and you'll have a great time meeting and collaborating with other printers and makers.

Everyone has been busy with the Holidays, and SeeMe has been busy with Eris, RMaxV3, and the DropLit 2; but it's time to start talking about MRRF again. When you get a new calendar later this week, mark down March 18th through the 20th, and start looking at making travel arrangements to SeeMeCNC's hometown of Goshen, Indiana!

If you haven't gone before, this is the RepRap and OpenSource 3D Printing event of the year! SeeMeCNC and RepRap rent an exhibit hall at the Elkhart Co. 4H Fairgrounds, and we pack it with hundreds of printers, projects, robots, scanners, things that fly, and everything else that you can imagine. It's a great weekend to meet other printers from around the world, show off your projects, put a face to the screen-name of members of the forum, meet the guys from SeeMeCNC (there's also usually a casual tour of the shop after tear down on Sunday), meet other companies like TrickLaser - Taulman - MakerJuice Labs - etc, see the PartDaddy printer in action, meet mkerspaces like The MakerHive, and hear talks about the state of the industry and different aspects of the technology from industry experts...

It's an event that you will be sorry if you miss. It's also 100% free!

Jim, I went last year to the Midwest Reprap Festival but I forget what happens on Sunday.
They show being open Sunday 10am-3pm.
Could you tell me what goes on then and if it is worth staying for. Thanks!

Sunday is a show day like the rest of them. Some attendees pack up and go home, but many stick around to finish their projects and continue meeting and networking with others.

Hi,
I need a bunch of parts, new arms, new cheapskates, fans, fuses etc. Will I be able to to buy stuff like this at the MRRF, or should I better order it online?

You will definitely be able to buy parts at the show! If it isn't there, SeeMeCNC is about 3 miles away and can work out a side trip.

I'll be out Saturday to hang out for a while.

Too bad I'll miss seeing you Barry. I currently plan to be there Sunday for a while. would be interesting to chat with you, among others.

MRRF was absolutely awesome! If you weren't there, you really missed out.
