Rostock Max V2 not connecting

Post by cadilovr »

I am at my instillation stage for software. Everything was working fine until I installed MatterControl. I did the M119 and checked the stops. After I put in the new coordinates to move it down a couple CM. It just went blank. My rostock is not connecting to any of the computers. Matter Control after i send it home just says... wait and after i disconnect and connect. It wont connect anymore. I even used Repetier Host also and it will not connect. Front panel says it is Rostock MAX OK. I looked at Device Manager and it says it working fine. I am lost right now and can't continue. Need some help. Don't know what to do. Now it just says "killed"

What version of Repetier Firmware, what version of MatterControl.

Newest Versions of both. MatterControl 1.4. Reperier Host 1.6.0. Windows 8 on one and Windows 7 on another. Happens to both computers. Just got the Rostock a week ago. When I turn it off and on again on the printer it goes back to being Rostock "OK".

Ensure the baud rates in device manager and matter control match.
There have been issues with Matter Control but I do not use it so we need another member to advise.
Sometimes a new USB cable can help but rarely.
Other users who run Matter Control please help with this thread.
