Replacement effector platform

Hey all,
A mishap happened over Thanksgiving and the tab my layer fan attaches to has broken off (I'd post a picture, but the printer is at work and I'm at home right now). For now, I've just put it on one of the other two tabs, but I was wondering if there are any good replacement/upgrade effector platforms out there. I'm not really interested in moving to magnetic joints or anything, I'm just looking to replace my stock platform. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

If you haven't got the ball arms from SeemeCNC, then this is probably a good time to upgrade, providing you have the injection molded carriages. If you don't there's a stock effector in seemeCNC's store http://www.seemecnc.com/collections/par ... ostock-max, or you can get the carriages, and arms, as the arms come with a new effector platform.

If those don't catch your fancy, well, http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:859276 should work.

You can always print one. Github.com/seemecnc

I'm working on my own design for a replacement effector right now. If the final version prints up the way I want it, I'll post about it tomorrow.

I printed PartDaddy's repable from here: http://repables.com/r/294/ as well as designing one to have a bigger center hole here http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1083270. Both worked shockingly well for such a critical part. Once I adjusted horizontal radius, the print quality was back to better-than-I-can-measure.

TrickLaser sells a set of aluminum part replacements for the effector platform and carriage mounts: http://www.tricklaser.com/MAX-METAL-Pla ... L-PLAT.htm
