100% From Scratch Mecanum Rover, printed on a Rostock V2!

The dinosaurs are still having way too much fun with their V2 Max! Here's a quick video of a mecanum wheeled rover they made for their friends:

The whole project was to create a parametric mecanum wheel generator, published here: Parametric Mecanum Wheel Generator Tool

The rest of the rover parts are here: All-3d-Printed Mecanum Wheel Rover using Parametric Wheels

Except for the circuit boards, wires, motors and screws, this one was 100% printed on the Rostock. It's way too much fun to drive around. About the only downside is how fast the teeny-tiny bearings accumulate hair and fuzz and bits of failed PLA fluff and need cleaning.

Watching forklifts equipped with those wheels make your head hurt. :)

That's an awesome design! I saw them on TVerse earlier today.

Mind if I post about them on my makerspace's social media? .They're too cool not to share.

That is the coolest bot I have ever seen. I especially like how it can move sideways. This one I have to print and get working.
Thank you so very much for posting this!

Thanks! Glad that people like it!

Yes, please use this however you'd like. I should make a version based on an Arduino instead of the LPC board. That would probably be a lot more friendly for most people to put together.
