Recorder (ABS)

Made this yesterday, causing an EZstruder jam about 15 minutes before completion. Edited STL and ran the last 10 mm and glued it on. Probably run another since it actually sounds very good. Est 7 hrs, took just over 6 (Slic3r).

Need some tips to prevent jamming. Is a retraction of 5.4mm at 100mm/s too much/too fast? .2 Z lift, min travel after retraction 2mm.
Speed for non print moves 200mm/s (too fast?)

The retraction gets rid of strings, but I do get a line of small gouge probably due to start stop speed (just like cutting something too fast on a mill).

Hey Tcat, the download button on Thingiverse is missing!

Hey Carl,

the reason the download button is missing is because Tcat printed someone else's model and the link that he gave is just a "Make" link to show that he printed the file.

Here is the original source file if you were interested in it.

The retraction amount seems reasonable but the speed seems fast. Kick it down to 50 or so and see if it makes a difference for you.
