LCD Acrylic cover hole position

The right, bottom screw hole on my LCD acrylic cover in my rostock max V2 kit appears to be drilled 1/8" higher than it was supposed to be, so it doesn't line up with the slot for it's captured screw. Anyone know if this is a general problem with the kit, or did I just get unlucky with this part?

I too have a kit that was shipped in December 2015 and my red LCD board lined up with the provided holes in the smoked plastic cover the reset button that you work by bending that plastic finger needs a lot of pressure to work though.

Mine is the same way. Looks like it wasn't aligned properly when they bent the plastic. I didn't bother with the bottom 2 screws, the front screws still line up right and holds it tight.

Yeah, what's weird is that the front two line up fine, and the left bottom lines up fine. It's only the right bottom hole that is 1/8" off. I suspect they accidentally drilled "above the line" instead of "below the line".
Anyway, no big deal, and sounds like I'm not the only one.

Pretty sure they laser cut the panel, then bend it over a mold. So the holes are right, it's the bend that's wrong. On mine the side opposite from the reset button is about an eighth inch lower than it should be.

I concur with Barry. I think it is a matter of the bend not being perfectly consistent. Not that I could have done any better, of course. I got the bottom holes to fit first, then the top ones, and that seemed to work pretty well for me.

Yep, they're lasercut by a machine, and then bent second... I'd take some pictures and send them to JJ so that the guys know about it.
