New build in progress, which hot end?

I have just begun building my printer, and am documenting the process on the forum
http://forum.seemecnc.com/viewtopic.php?f=42&t=9622
My first question is which hot end to install at first. I have the stock hot end, and an E3D v6 hot end and mount.
For a first time builder, does starting with the E3D complicate, or simplify getting a new printer up and running?
Thanks for your thoughts.

Stick with the stock hotend for now,,,,, many people are still using it, and if you have a problem with a print, they're more familiar with it. Once you start making good prints, and see how all of the different print settings effect your print, then change it out. You're already jumping headfirst into 3d printing, and the supplied manual will do an excellent job of getting you up and running with the stock hotend.
FWIW, I'm still running a semi stock hotend, and am looking forward to the new one that SeeMeCNC will be releasing shortly.

Until you decide to move into higher temp filaments (climb the learning curve first, you sanity will thank you later) there is no hard requirements to go to any other hot end and the stock hot end works quite well.
Now, not listening to my own sage advise, I did build my printer with a 40W cartridge heater and screw-in thermistor in the stock hot end from the get go.
I still keep a stock hot end ready to quick change and go. Snap it in, Plug up the cable and tube, set the thermistor type in firmware and we are running. Less than five minutes.

Hmm, somehow there are two threads with the text of my original question, each with different answers.
Maybe I have a doppleganger...
Let's continue the conversation in this thread. Thanks.

I personally have a lot of different hotends, and I don't particularly like the stock hotend, but there is nothing very wrong with it.
I like the E3D, but it's another variable when your trying to debug the machine, you can't just set the retract settings the same as the stock unit and expect it to work.
Having said that if your intent is to run the E3D eventually, there is little benefit going through the hassle of assembling the stock hotend.
