Rostock BOM

Post by Polygonhell »

I got my kit yesterday, and I was just checking the BOM with what's in the box, it appears to be complete (I haven't counted the screws/nuts etc with numbers over 20), but I wanted to suggest a change to the BOM because although it's really nice to have, some parts are confusing for someone checking the box contents against it. It would be better if it was organized by how it's packaged.
For example the heated bed thermister is listed separately on the BOM but appears to be in with the Hot end kit, it also lists 16 M3x10mm screws, but the little baggie with them in contains 12 because the other 4 are in with the extruder hardware.

I'm looking forwards to starting assembly, this weekend probably.

Well I've finished removing the laser cut pieces from the sheets, and removed the tape.
I damaged two pieces from the smaller sheet removing them, the laser had not cut all the way through the melamine in one corner, so I have some cosmetic damage one of the 68392 an one of 68345, I'll probably also have to drill out the countersunk screw holes for 68392, since they aren't cut through.
