Food grade gel coat

Hello everyone,

I am curently printing a toy for my 8 months baby boy (1.5 Day print). I intend to paint and coat it with a food grade product.

Do you have advices, product references, or anything that could help me ? I thought about a gelcoat, but I am open to suggestions, since I am not sure gelcoats can be used on anything else than resin.
