I've been away from this for about nine months and trying to get back up to speed with printing but failure with "something"...

I turned it on, all seemed good. Loaded a file to print:
I am using MatterControl 1.5 (on a Rostock MAX v2).

Did all the necessary functions and started. The bed and extruder heated up to preordained temps and the machine began printing.

All seemed fine until about ten minutes printing when the window popped up (see picture for screenshot).
I watched for a minute while printer continued, and noticed no ABS coming from the tip. Dry Run, I guess.

And this also: I don't even know where to begin to hunt for the reason/problem.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

I'd say pull the board out and see what the resistance is on the thermistor circuits. Most likely, they're either shorted or open somewhere or the firmware has forgotten its settings.

After writing that original inquiry I turned off the puter and printer. Just back home now I fired both up. The printer reads:
I'll keep it on for a while and see if it goes on the fritz.

So this morning I ran same print program.
All seemed fine until aprox 15-20 minutes into print.
I got the same message error and the printer went into "dry run".

Anyone have any suggestions?

Probably not the firmware at this point. Your short or open is intermittent. Trace the thermistor leads. Insulate anything that has any chance of touching metal and clean and secure all the joints.

I checked all (snap in) connections and the one with wires that lead to the center of the hotbed seemed to be "loose". I unplugged and plugged back in firmly. Did this with all the connections.
Running it now... we'll see.

I had similar problems and they were loose connectors on the thermistor connections. Double check that the crimped ends are inserted completely.

Yes, that was the problem--a loose connection.

So...I printed (still printing, will be finished in an hour) my VERY large print. All was near-perfect last night. But this morning I checked on the progress and see the delamination. So bummed. All seemed to be going so well. I expected a few small cracks but they continue to grow.

I'll post again under "show us what you printed" when complete.
Q: should I increase the squish?

ABS? You may have to go slower, or increase the temperature of the hotend. Just like welding metals,,, you have to bring the base material, in this case the previous layer, up to temperature to fuse with the new layer.

I printed a test calibration cube 2 days ago with no issues, now I've come to do another print today and am getting the same error and NOZ: def BED: def shown on the LCD display.

I've unplugged both the thermistor plugs from the Rambo board and they both meter out at around 145k ohms so I'd say they are fine, plugged them back in and still the error exists, to me this seems like a fault on the Rambo rather than the thermistors because I am still able to perform a PID autotune which proves the hotend thermistor is ok.

I'm out of ideas, bit disappointed really as I've only printed the peek fan shroud, a whistle and 1 test calibration cube

I'm having the same issue, it prints normal then like after 19% completed the nozzle temperature drops and the NOZ: def BED: def

I was finally to be able to have a full print today by turning off the fan, it seems like the fans were cooling the extruder faster than the extruder can heat up. I guess I have to configure my slicer better on the fan speed.

What printer do you have? and what hotend is on it? If it's the old hotend, one of the resistors may be burnt out.
