i have a max 2 completely stock but i have a problem. I was starting to get worse and worse prints so i finally stopped and examined everything i could. the one thing i noticed is the effector plate moves 1/4" freely without moving the arms. i double checked and it is moving and sliding without moving the arms. any ideas what i need to do would be great.

Do you have the ball joint version ? Verifies that the screws that hold the barbells (white parts) have not become loose.
